The Merkel Cell Carcinoma Collaborative (MC3) Institute is now accepting applications for two paid, full-time Clinical Research Fellows.

Supported fully by patient donations, this in-person program offers advanced medical students and early-career physicians the opportunity to improve Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) patient care worldwide through direct patient support, clinical trial connections, and translational research under the mentorship of Paul Nghiem, MD, PhD, MC3 Institute Director, and Chair of the UW Department of Dermatology.

Details: 

  • Two full-time, paid positions based in Seattle
  • Start Date: June / July 2026
  • Duration: 1-2 years 
  • Application Window: Closes November 15, 2025 
  • Eligibility: Medical students (must have completed 3rd year of medical school) and early-career physicians
