Haroldo Rodriguez Receives Travel Fellowship Award from SID

Congratulations to Haroldo Rodriguez, a Molecular Medicine and Mechanisms of Disease (M3D) PhD student in the Nghiem Lab at the University of Washington, and member of the Merkel Cell Carcinoma Collaborative (MC3) Institute, on receiving a Travel Fellowship Award from the Society for Investigative Dermatology (SID)!
This award will support Haroldo’s travel to the SID Annual Meeting in San Diego, May 7-10, 2025, where he will present a poster and give a talk titled, “T-antigen-specific B cell responses in Merkel cell carcinoma tumors predict disease outcomes.”
“I am honored to receive this award to attend this year’s SID conference, where I will be sharing our work on how cancer-specific B cell responses in Merkel cell carcinoma strongly predict disease outcomes. This research highlights the power of interdisciplinary collaborations and may ultimately contribute to the development of novel cell therapies—not just for MCC, but other cancers as well” –Haroldo Rodriguez
Congratulations, Haroldo, on this well-deserved recognition—wishing you safe travels and success as you share your work!
