Team “Skin In The Game” Raises Thousands for Merkel Cell Carcinoma Research
The Nghiem Lab and the Merkel Cell Carcinoma (MC3) Institute were proud to once again take part in Obliteride, Fred Hutch Cancer Center’s annual fundraising bike ride and 5K walk/run, held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Seattle. Our team joined thousands of participants riding, running, and walking to help accelerate cancer research.
A heartfelt thank you to the 80+ donors who have already supported Team “Skin In The Game!” Together, we’ve raised more than $54,000 to advance Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) research.
Donations will be accepted through Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025. We invite you to contribute or share our cause—your generosity and support make a lasting impact.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Mike and Burmah Rainbolt, whose generous $30,000 donation—along with an offer to match up to an additional $20,000—was instrumental in helping us reach our fundraising goal. Their support will have a profound impact on our efforts.
