Andy Dickson at MC3 Institute Launch Event in Seattle, WA — January 2025

The Merkel Cell Carcinoma Collaborative (MC3) Institute has received a multi-year philanthropic grant from the Odyssey Group Foundation to support multi-site studies, clinical trials, institute operations, educational outreach, and training programs. This award, named the Kelsey Dickson Team Science Research Courage Award, honors Andy Dickson's daughter, Kelsey, who passed away from Merkel cell carcinoma in 2014. Odyssey Group has been supporting MCC research and multi-site studies/clinical trials at Fred Hutch and UW Medicine for more than a decade, underscoring how philanthropy makes this work possible.
