Welcome Rosita, new MC3 Clinical Trial Coordinator

The MC3 is delighted to introduce our new Clinical Trial Coordinator! Rosita Thiessen, CCRP, is a clinical research professional with more than two decades of experience coordinating and supporting human subjects research across a wide range of specialties, including neurosurgery, neurology-stroke, infectious diseases, and women’s health. She has worked extensively in academic research environments at institutions such as Seattle Children’s, Stanford, and UCSF. Her work has included coordinating interventional drug trials and observational studies. She is most interested in-patient centered research where there is a direct impact on clinical care.

Rosita was drawn to MC3 for its collaborative team environment and its mission-driven research program with long-term impact. She is interested in working closely with the MC3 Institute in expanding their clinical trial portfolio. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and brings cultural sensitivity and professionalism to her interactions with participants and colleagues alike.

Outside of her professional work, Rosita enjoys social dancing (salsa) to stay active and connected. She also spends her free time on long walks with her dogs and baking homemade sweet breads, like zucchini, which she enjoys sharing with friends and family.
